The Shoalhaven has long been known for its diverse range of industries.
Just how diverse those industries now are, is being showcased at the Shoalhaven Visitor Information Centre on Bridge Road Nowra, within the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre.
From seaweed health products, to mouthwatering confectionary and hand painted silk scarves, the items are not only on display, but are also available for purchase.
The sustainably cultivated seaweed items are produced by Phyco Health and include food, digestive products and a skin health range.
The confectionary comes from Berry's multi award winning Treat Factory, which is now the largest gourmet food outlet on the South Coast.
Visitor Centre Manager Joe Puglisi, says the wide variety of produce from Kangaroo Valley Olives rate among the biggest sellers.
Mr Puglisi says when visitors arrive in the Shoalhaven they not only want to see the natural attractions, they also want to purchase locally made produce.
Emerging locally based manufacturers who would like to market their products at the centre are urged to visit the complex and discuss their display items with staff.
