Buy, Sell or Rent with Integrity!

Tue 17 Jul 2018

Like the famous AC/DC song, it was always going to be a long way to the top for Nowra Real Estate Agent Peter Russell - but there was also time for a little rock and roll.

So how does a 'born and bred' local navigate his way on the long and winding road from a factory floor, to become one of the most successful business operators in his chosen profession?

If anyone thinks they need to move out of the area to become an industry leader, they need to look at the life of Peter Russell.

There were the usual factors like good mentors and positioning yourself to be in the right place at the right time.

However, there were two people who made Peter the respected business person he is today, his mum and grandmother.

The work ethic they instilled in Peter has been the key factor in his philosophy, that if you treat people the way you like to be treated, they will become valued customers.

In one simple word, it is all about trust.

At one stage after leaving Nowra High School, Peter had three jobs at the same time. He worked at the paper mill, Civic Video and doing DJ work, at Legends night club.

It was not unusual to do all three jobs in one 24 hour period.

In the early days, mentoring of Colin and Frank Cornell from Russell Hall Real Estate in Nowra, was a key factor in making Integrity Real Estate the high achieving and record breaking success it is today.

Peter says one of his most satisfying real estate transactions has been the recent sale of a home in Illaroo Road North Nowra for more than a million dollars, which has set a new benchmark for the area.

Another has been the sale of development land on Moss Vale Road, between Bomaderry and Cambewarra, for more than $4 million.

If you can grab a few minutes out of Peter's busy business schedule, there are a lot of valuable lessons to be learnt.
