Shoalhaven Industrial Estates

Shoalhaven City Council owns and develops a range of employment lands throughout the City. Current industrial holdings are at South Nowra (Flinders Industrial Estate), Huskisson (Woollamia Industrial Estate), Yerriyong (Albatross Aviation Technology Park) and in the near future at South Ulladulla. Previously Council has undertaken industrial subdivisions in Bomaderry and North Nowra.

Council, as developer, endeavours to present the lots at a reasonable price to ensure development and special clauses are included in each sale to protect that interest.

Sites range in size from 2000sm upwards to around two hectares. All services are provided to each lot: roads, water, sewer, drainage, electricity and telecommunications.

Albatross Aviation Technology Park

Specifically for the defence and aviation support industries, this estate adjoins the airfield of HMAS Albatross, to the south west of Nowra, and is connected by taxiways to the runways on the base. International companies currently operate from the AATP delivering services not only to the Royal Australian Navy but to other ADF clients and other customers located elsewhere in Australia as well as overseas. The subdivision layout is such that around half of the generally larger lots front onto taxiways leading to the airfield with other, usually smaller lots being strategically located adjacent to airside lots and particularly suited for equipment and instrumentation repairs and maintenance. Woollamia Industrial Estate Stages 5 and 5A

Servicing both the local and regional community, this smaller industrial area near Huskisson has a range of operations. Being nearby to Jervis Bay the marine manufacturing industry is well represented producing ocean racing yachts to recreational kayaks. 

Stage 5Shoalhaven City Council invites interested parties to submit an Expression of Interest  (EOI)  for the below listed properties in Mussel Court, Woollamia  Industrial  Estate. Council has developed the properties with the primary aim of assisting  the development of an employment generating industrial activity.  

The  two allotments (Lot 20 and Lot 21 DP1265789) are ready for sale with all services provided and plan of subdivision registered.

Stage 5A  is currently under development, and will see the release of 18,600sm of serviced industrial land .  Communications about the upcoming Release of Stage 5A will occur when the land is fully registered and ready for development.

Flinders Industrial Estate

First established in 1978, the development at South Nowra now has some quite large factory premises with several international companies operating from the estate. A wide variety of products are produced and sold/exported from the Shoalhaven to markets interstate and overseas. The estate is serviced by many local hauliers operating to Sydney, Ports Botany & Kembla, and other centres throughout NSW and Australia.
