Expansion of Milton Ulladulla Funeral Services

Tue 03 Apr 2018

Work is set to start on the construction of the Shoalhaven's second crematorium. Expected to cost more than $4 million, the crematorium will be developed by Milton Ulladulla Funeral Services.

It is planned for a site adjacent to the Romney Park Saw Mill, between Milton and Ulladulla.

Company Director Simon Law says the complex will be developed over a period of years and in a series of stages, culminating with the opening of a funeral chapel and other facilities.

The cremator portion of the project will be operational later this year.

Mr Law took over the business from his parents Tom and Janelle more than a decade ago, and currently employs 10 staff.  At present the area's only crematory is located at Worrigee and is operated by Shoalhaven Council.  A crematory is also located at Broulee in Eurobodalla Shire.
